What are we trying to accomplish?
We have a strong desire to equip, inspire and encourage each and every member to be able to share their faith and to grow spiritually, as well as numerically. While we obviously send out missionaries from our contributions to other countries around the world, our task is not done! Not only is Jesus needed right here in Texas, but we wholeheartedly believe that every disciple can share the gospel and their personal faith in their own way based on their individual spiritual gifts and talents.
What is our approach?
– Seek those who have gifts in this area or are finding their gifts
– Equip those who desire to share their faith through tools & resources
– Mentor members to not only provide information
– Connect folks to actively share their faith -> to newcomers-visitors
What are some of our planned activities?
Host family relationship connections to new members, Just for You Bibles, visitation with care packages to new residents of Kingwood and surrounding neighborhoods, mentoring in 1-On-1 Bible Studies, website tool box, and more.
Our evangelism ministry is based on relationships and NOT programs!
Relationships have always been important, but now even more so. Although some formalized classes, literature, and events may be important elements of what we do, the focus will remain on “Relationships” first! We will simply pattern our ministry plans after Jesus’s model with his own disciples (His inner 3: Peter, James, & John, the 12, the 70, the 500, etc) We share simply Jesus, Him crucified, dead, buried, arisen and for the seeker, belief, repentance and immersion for forgiveness of sins through the holy scriptures. We come without denomination and no other brand of faith except that described in God’s word, with the aim to add citizens to the heavenly kingdom. We do this out of our love for Jesus and relationship with Him, pure and simple.
