Rick has been a member of Kingwood Church of Christ since 1989. He and his wife Dondi raised their four children in Kingwood, after having met and married in Louisiana in 1986. Rick is now retired, having worked at ExxonMobil Corporation for more than 37 years. Rick grew up in Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering in 1978. He has been involved in teaching and Life Groups at KWCoC. Dondi owns her own custom window treatment business in Kingwood. Rick and Dondi truly consider Kingwood, and KWCoC, as home. Their children and grandchildren also reside in southeast Texas.
The first Bible verse I memorized as a child was Matt 5:12 – “Rejoice and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the Prophets who were before you.” That has always helped me keep things in perspective through the years.
